Your video was very helpful & eye-opening. I went through your recent videos. My takeaway is that YT dislikes videos that have heavy AI visuals even if you were heavily involved in other aspects of production. This is not your case but a lot of demonetized channels had AI-heavy shorts. You've paid a heavy price but you are very much helping others by sharing your story. Thank you for this.
@TheTrekCentral That is too bad. Hard to see so much work be dismantled but I guess it's a sad part of the TV & movie business. Can't keep any of it.
I didn't want to taint your name with their automated response and my subsequent comment. I posted the screenshot of their response on my X account. I was accused of being a "fake friend" and trying to score multiple free accts. It's laughable because we've met a few times IRL, I bought your book, I've attended your talks, I subscribe to you on X, etc. but I am a "fake friend". Ludicrous accusation.
Apparently, @ManusAI thinks I am a "fake friend" when I clicked a respected YouTube educator's link to sign up. I actually know this respected YT educator and met in person a few times. That is the only reason I clicked because I respect his opinions and suggestions. I bring it up to Manus tech support and I am accused of possessing multiple free accounts. No, it's my first and only account. Never heard of @ManusAI before today.
And NO, I am not appealing the suspension. They can keep the new account I tried to register as "suspended". They can keep their AI service. So many to choose from. This is the quality of their response when you reach out to them.
@VubliApp That was a great interview with @Daniel_Batal . I've wanted to hear his perspective on Shorts for a long time. This is the only video I've seen where he gets into it.
@AprilynneAlter Not necessarily specific to Youtubers but I think people who take care of their ability to sleep and manage stressors is huge. I believe and practice it. It is central to almost everything you want to do well in life. They are core habits. BTW, good to meet you at Vidsummit.
@robertoblake It's quite unfortunate the number of conspiracies floating around on these (and other) topics. I don't think there is much anyone can do to dissuade people who are determined to hold on to them.
I am getting more active reading my Linkedin feed. Am I the only one who feels that some users post too much? I find myself unfollowing some of the people I follow. It just seems like there is a competition to be in your feed every day. I'm not convinced posting so frequently on LinkedIn is a good thing.
It was a bit shocking the glut of products that brands and vendors were giving away at #vidsummit2025 . Bags, journals, meat sticks, cookies, tea leaves, and shockingly, Prime soda/energy drinks. So many free items were unwanted. I talked a few of the security people to get the drinks because there was a glut of them sitting unwanted.
Finished my first #vidsummit at #vidsummit2025 as a late-50's Gen-X creator. What an experience. My feet hurt from all the walking. I'm grateful to have met so many creators for the first time whom I've admired from afar as well as creators from different genres and backgrounds. The list is so long, I can't easily list them here.
@Daniel_Batal@Filmora_Editor I'm not convinced the person made an accurate statement. I am a life-timer and don't have a problem exporting. But I did get 3-months of their Creative Assets but that is different for the core Filmora editor.
