I completely agree with your conclusion and your insight will be useful to me as I discuss that topic with people I know. I still struggle personally with how, as you said, "you can have proper anger towards individuals that is not sinful", but your approach/hermeneutic is really helpful.

Yesterday I spent close to an hour talking with Jehovah’s Witnesses on my front porch. I told them to come back next week for another conversation.

I only knew a couple of things about their beliefs - that Jesus is not God, that works contribute to salvation, that they use specific words for certain things, but i wish I knew more.

I’ve been obsessively researching how to get through to Jan and Dorothy. Hopefully this post will help to get me on to the converted JW side of X.

As they left, I told them that I loved them, and I do. I want them to know the real Jesus.

Calling her work investigative journalism is an insult to the genre. The pace of her podcast episodes is not consistent with the journalistic ethical framework. IJ is methodical, patient, and evidence-first. What we're seeing is real-time, reactive, and speculative.

My point is not that we as citizens shouldn't ask questions and seek the truth (I agree that not all things in this case make 100% sense, and I certainly agree that corruption is possible) but that to do so publicly and to call so many others to arms is careless.

@Feral_Forest Enjoy! I have been a believer since I was young. I have spent a lot of time studying the Bible over the years, but I just recently finished my first cover-to-cover read through. It was really rewarding and I wish I had done it sooner in my walk with the Lord.

Respectfully, how does this statement work with:

Ps 24:1 "The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it."

Your statement implies that nonbelievers can never enjoy... anything? Why does the world get exclusive claim over a certain genre? What about this cover is objectively imitating "the ambiance of the pit"? I agree with you that the world can not accept the message of this song, but you seem to only be taking issue with the sound. I'm seeking to understand.

I don't think you're completely wrong, but there is a big difference between washed store-bought eggs and the fresh eggs you're referring to. The natural bloom which is washed off of store eggs protects the egg from bacteria and moisture loss and allows them be able to be stored unrefrigerated and for a longer period of time before going bad.
