We tell girls they are already enough, and we build schools, workplaces, and social narratives around helping them express that.
We tell boys they must earn their worth, but we’re vague about what earns it and suspicious when they pursue it for themselves.
When one group is validated by default and the other only conditionally, the result is quiet resentment and slow disengagement.
"NOT ALL WOMEN”
1. But you don’t shut down every rape joke and false allegation made by women. No in fact you cheer it and encourage other women to do it as well
2. You don’t intervene when you see women by the millions harassing a man. No instead you join the Dog pile so you too can get in on the fun.
3. You don’t stop being friends with that friend who beats her husband. No you justify it and help her to hide it. Even encourage her to file a restraining order against him claiming he's the abuser when in fact she is
4. You don’t report your rapist/sexual abuser friends who happen to be women. Especially the ones who target little boys and teens. No instead you claim he wanted it and that she's just "misguided" or "acting out if trauma. "
Funny how all y'all don't practice what you preach isn't it?
genuinely concerned with how many people think will was somehow owed mike just for having a crush on him and his mike is somehow the most evil person in the world for not cheating on his girlfriend.
We got into an argument and i yelled at him LOUD ASF. He looked at me and said, “I’m in love with you. One day I want to marry you and have kids with you, so you need to find a way to communicate without yelling because I won’t have us arguing in front of our kids.” i— 😭😭😭
Imagine dating a guy who messages you first because he genuinely wants to talk, replies quickly not out of obligation, but because you're a priority, and stays patient when you're overwhelmed or emotional. He's not interested in anyone else, his eyes are only on you. He cheers for your goals as if they were his own, notices the little things others miss, and sees your imperfections yet still calls you his choice. He chooses you daily, even when it's hard.
Don’t break up.
Fix the problem.
Start the romance again.
Go on dates again.
Work on winning each other over again.
This is why there so many failed relationships.
If you love each other and are best friend then breaking up is not the answer.
Let me give yall the TL:DR of the Joey swole controversy
> Man goes into woman’s locker room
> takes photo of their “bulge” to post on their OF
> Joey calls them out, says to not record porn in public and men should not be in women’s locker room or be recording (literal crime)
> internet angry because swole misgendered the trans
> ignores the crime being committed because trans
Good lord people are retarded, anyways W Joey
Keep calling em out.
@RedMedia_us “if you are born a Boy, be a boy, there is nothing wrong with being a boy how about that?"
only batshit crazy humans have a problem with that sentence
i'll never understand people who don't have that "i need to take care and not ruin this public space" voice inside their heads, just a complete failure of a human being
