@demosthenes_4 I have yet to see a city that has figured out an effective bike rental model. It's basically always cheaper and more convenient over the long haul to buy your own bike. Ppl buy their own bikes, ridership goes down, prices go up & it ends up becoming an amusement ride for tourists
The thing that stands out in this documentary is how lonely the finish line is. A marathon finish is usually pretty hype - lots of crowds and competitors. In ultra running, the journey and the destination are so personal.

This is such awful news. I’ve long said Austin would be nothing if it weren’t for its access to outdoor spaces. And the city/state seem keen on slowly stripping that access away
