I wish more jobs were ad-hoc and voluntary. I’d rather be feeding people, making sure toilets are in order on a plane than sat there staring at a screen; or restocking some shelves if they’re empty and helping elderly or less able people with their shopping at the supermarket; or quickly frying a few meals at maccies. Not sure why it’s either full hog 40 hours a week in some niche role or nothing at all. I’d get arrested for nipping in to the back of a supermarket to check stock. I can’t be the only one
