@Dan_Christensen@HoverMuseum I enjoyed being a regular commuter on Hovertravel from Portsmouth to Ryde on the Isle of Wight.
It was great fun and the only Solent crossing where the ‘driver’ is a Pilot not a Captain.
Photos from a few years ago visiting the Hovercraft factory and the naming of new craft.
Barnsley. What a town. I visited for the first yesterday to film a report for tonight’s News at Ten.
The centre is full of life, the people we met were warm and welcoming and those moors! In the gaps between the buildings you catch glimpses of stunning countryside. #blownaway
Out walking in the beautiful Peaks yesterday and observed this beauty in green and yellow rounding the corner and delighting visitors with spectacular views of the Hope Valley 😍
@3valleysfest Excellent! A former colleague of mine used to organise the beer and buses weekend on the Isle of Wight, it was tremendously successful and spawned a few similar events around the country.
Upcoming CAMRA members social 20 July - Peak District Sightseer open top bus ride and pub tour. More details on our diary page >> https://t.co/RxYoDtpotx
@dcmcmlxxvi The power supplier is taking as long as they can before turning the power on. Latest expected date 20th July. So frustrating as everything is ready to go.
@Dan_Christensen Hi Dan 👋 brilliant photo and love your tweets too! Great to see bus operations on the other side of the pond.
If you’re ever over here then do let us know and you’d be welcome to visit.
I think the Peak Sightseer livery may be one of my favourite @creatingdesire creations. It's a real eye-catcher! And by the way, when hopping off in Bakewell, you have to scoff a Bakewell tart.
It's the law.
