I'm grateful for Modo, I think it's a great piece of software and you can do some good work with it. But Blender has been in the same place for a few years now, and it's free, and its open-source development seems really steady.

I'm moving from Modo to Blender for all my 3d work. I've been using the Steam Indie version for a few years now - Steam says I have had it launched for 900 hours.

Changing 3d workflows is a huge deal when you're Productive in one tool and need to continue cranking along with a game project as you switch, it's not something I would ordinarily consider.

@harrynesbitt Oh no! My own issue got mostly solved when I put the Intuos 3 nibs into my Intuos 4 pen which I guess is the inverse of your thing. But this has been a Big Problem for 10+ years now it's hard to imagine why Wacom haven't fixed it (without assuming the worst)

@mbaker3 Are you going the pure ECS route; entities only? Or is this a hybrid mix of GameObjects and Systems?

@PathogenDavid Hmm, I played the GameCube a lot growing up (Sunshine is the best Mario game), and I see why this pixel art version does kinda look like an Instant Pot kitchen appliance. The devs had to alter the design to not be trademark violating, it's the front panel that looks v. different.

@AlexStLouis10 @larsiusprime When you say "browser games, on the blockchain", what is that? I started off my career in Flash web games, so it's been a few years, but it's not immediately clear to me what problem a blockchain solves for browser games?

@larsiusprime I opened my DVD drive and there's a Windows 7 installation disk in there, so early 2016 for me. Also, lots of dust! I didn't think it could get in there but here we are.

Making these every now and then makes me wonder how video editors manage it. I thought game development tools crash a lot!

There was one clip in the middle that would cause a crash to desktop if I even clicked on it. Clearly a cursed clip, too terrible to behold/interact with.
