As lead attorney in this case, I can gladly tell you what a Jewish flag is. It's the Israeli flag. The same way the Torah is a Jewish scripture and a Yarmulke is a Jewish skullcap. We explained this quite clearly in the complaint. Lmk if you have any other questions.

This Israel-loyal censorship advocate is celebrating a decision that he says holds that "attacking a Jew for wearing a Jewish flag" is proof of a hate crime.

What he means is an ISRAELI flag, not "a Jewish flag." Conflating "Israel" and "Jews" is deemed anti-Semitic under Israel and the US's IHRA expanded hate speech codes. It's also deceitful and dangerous for obvious reasons: it tells people that if they justly hate Israel, they should hate all Jews.

The Jewish flag is much older than the state. When the Zionist Congress needed a banner, Wolffsohn noted the Jews already owned one: the tallit.

Blue stripes, white cloth, a Magen David between them; the shawl went up a flagpole.
