My understanding is that the EFL investigation into Liverpool’s false positives is actually underway and already pretty much complete. Cut and dried by the sound of things. I’m told the verdict will be a red card for Xhaka.
This and the Rice video on the same day, man. Whew. Reviled on the outside but so much to fill your heart if you're on the inside. What a two weeks. What a club. #AFC
It should just be unbridled joy right now but I can't help feeling deep sadness that one person isn't here with me to witness all this... That Wigan fan who screamed, "Second again!" in my son's face on the Holloway Road after the FA Cup game. Thinking of you today, pal #AFC
At least this is actually a clip rather than some of the facile screengrabs floating around. Just a pity it misses Martinez pushing Gabriel 3 times to clear a path for himself and then just jumping into the attacker.
There might be a foul but it is pitiful goalkeeping.
Said it before, and I'll say it again: *If* we win it, this may be the greatest of all the ones I've seen, just for the amount of rival piss we've boiled along the way #AFC
The Emirates tonight has been everything Mikel Arteta has wanted from this crowd for years. He's spent his entire tenure trying to weaponise the fanbase and this was the high point of that mission. The bus welcome, the tifo, the noise, the energy. Properly hostile.
Been trying to convince myself for weeks/months that we're just boring. Truth is, we've actually been poor for most of 2026 too. I don't know how we change anything before Sunday. I suspect watching videos of Cherki juggling and a City fan waving a bottle around won't change much
We were once deprived of two points in a title race when Brentford were erroneously awarded an offside equaliser against us because the VAR *forgot to draw the lines*. Forgive me if I don't lose any sleep when we become the beneficiaries of incompetence.
VAR mistakes have helped Arsenal’s challenge for the Premier League title this season with the club benefiting from three decisions that should have been penalties, according to a panel which rules on key match incidents

Arsenal need to lean into these "boring"/"time-wasting"/"Set Piece FC" accusations. Let the wider world sneer. Create a siege mentality. Dig in. Be mean. For around two decades they were accused of being too soft, now they are apparently the opposite. Ride the hate-wave.
@Alan_Alger_@Towno10@TheS_Resource The scenario in the post is entirely feasible in the JPL. I've coached grassroots for 8 years and over-competitive coaches are a significant issue. I've seen opposition coaches leave kids on the bench for a whole game. The rules are in place but they have to be self-policed.
@Alan_Alger_@Towno10@TheS_Resource The post doesn't specify grassroots but no matter – JPL *is* grassroots. Academy players are excluded and the Middlesex JPL, where my boys play, is full of teams who also exist in the local grassroots combination, and not just in the top tiers. It's kids playing with their mates.
@Towno10@Alan_Alger_@TheS_Resource You're certainly correct at traditional grassroots level @Alan_Alger_ but results and tables are published at this age group in the FA-affiliated JPL: https://t.co/AvEnHtdJEH
@Towno10@Alan_Alger_@TheS_Resource With regional and national trophies awarded twice a season. Possibly allowable under FA guideline that says U9 & U10 can play three four-week periods of trophy football per season: https://t.co/I0B6ltXjq3
You can see in the final replay that Gyökeres cuts down on the ball with his left before shooting. It takes the ball away from Gray but with enough spin that it stays within Gyökeres' reach. No idea if it's deliberate. Brilliant touch if it is, bit of luck he needed if not. #AFC
"There's a pitch invasion. By the players." That not Gary Neville commentating you hear, that's him on the phone to the EFL, FA and police, trying to get some of our boys banned for the final #AFC
I was around for the incredible finish to the 89 season. I was at every home game the Invincibles played. But *if* we win it this season, it'll top everything before it—just for the sheer amount of rival piss we've boiled.
Is the FA going to sit and watch Arsenal continue doing this all in the name of football. I think the PGMOL has to look into this, it's quietly ruining English Football and no one is saying anything about it. You put the ball directly to where the keeper is supposed to come and claim it freely but you put your players so close to the the goalkeeper so he can't do his work and then you score and the goal is given.
And most of these goals are not scored from a free space or free header it's always due to the goalkeepers inability to catch the ball. This has to be stopped.
