Men ages 18 to 25 should NOT be "comfy." They should not "stay on track." They should go way off the reservation, live rough, slum it, be sailors, infantrymen, ruffians, hoboes, roughnecks, etc for a while.
The most high-quality men I know all did something like this early on in their manhood. Some simply moved to a random city far away, or went to Alaska, had a period as an addict, ran off to join the Marines, slum-traveled it around the world living on pennies, bicycled across America, whatever. Some were missionaries in third-world countries or did a stint in the ghetto.
If a young man doesn't do something like this -- something where he is generally uncomfortable for long periods of his early manhood -- he's ruined. He becomes kind of... "bloated," finicky, weak, and that "bloatedness" is etched into the foundation of the rest of his life, with roundly negative results.
Anyone with influence in a young man's life MUST exhort the lad to have his "Teddy Roosevelt" moment. How he chooses to do it doesn't matter -- just so long as he is definitively NOT "comfy" for at least a year or two.
The home gym is a luxury for those squeezed for time. You only have 45 minutes total for a lift that day and don't want to spend half of it round tripping to the gym. It makes sense as a supplemental vehicle to lift.
But lifting at a home gym full time is grueling. It's like 100% wfh. You eventually start falling into bad habits tht wouldn't otherwise take form at a public gym. The presence of other people is necessary for proper human function, even if you aren't talking to anyone. Simply having people around you makes a massive difference.
Even if I had a 6k sqft house with the equivalent of an anytime fitness in the basement, I would still go to Lifetime or Equinox for as many lifts as possible.
@WorldDarkWeb2 Obviously this guy is an idiot but that parent is just as stupid. You see things like this and go the other way or around. Your job as a parent is to protect your kid not walk them underneath a mentally unstable person swinging around.
So I went to Costco without a membership, I snuck around the card readers, I didn’t want to wait in line to get an actual membership or one day pass. They caught me in the store and asked me to leave or go to the service desk and get a membership. Instead of leaving I demanded free products and food and waved a Sam’s club flag in the middle of their store to show them just how much I love Costco and want to stay. When they still asked me to leave I began stealing whatever I could and threw frozen hamburger patties at security. They should have just let me shop there without a membership, I’m special!
@iExposingCrazy Seizure for sure. I had a dog who was epileptic. That one was pretty bad. By the time my dog got to that point, the end was near. It only got worse from there and he passed a month or so later. That’s tough to see again
@RealCOPatriot @ChemistGodswill Anything specific you’d recommend? My knees are so bad I can’t play basketball or jump at all or they swell up for days.
Yet I can still squat 500lbs no prob
@muccistrength I can’t jump or cut hard without knee pain. What would you recommend? When I play basketball my knees swell up for days and I can’t barely walk. Yet I can squat 500lbs. No doctor has been able to help
Stop being nice to homeless people.
Don’t you think it’s odd when someone doesn’t have ONE friend/family member in their corner?
That’s because these are people have burned every bridge.
They have robbed, used, and exploited everybody in their path.
Homeless people are sex offenders, thieves, and self righteous pieces of shit.
Doing nice things for them just encourages their behavior.
It’s 2025. There’s a job on every street corner.
Being homeless is a fucking choice and we shouldn’t reward it.
A homeless person will turn this into a horrifying shit and trash filled drug den in about 45 minutes. Homeless people are not homeless because they fell on hard times. They’re homeless because they are completely dysfunctional drug-addled vagrants who have no ability to live in civilized society, and no interest in even trying. It’s time for everyone to grow up and start being honest about this issue.
Yes, but just to be clear, almost nobody in middle class America actually dislikes poor people for being poor. We don't live in Downton Abbey, or whatever, where you're supposed to know your station in life and people demand that you remain in your class without reference to what you're like as a person. The simple fact is that poverty is associated with increased rates of crime and disorder. It's that simple.
WTF is up with big businesses not having a phone number? Google, Facebook, Fiverr, etc. this is so stupid that we allow this. Nothing gets done and it’s nearly impossible to reach a person to help you.
All businesses should be FORCED to have customer support Via phone.
@whoisderon @TrueNDLiving@DeanTTraining Also, if you want to know my bulk program and what I ate, DM me. I’ll give you everything I did for FREE, because I’m not a guru. If you don’t like it, don’t do it. Take the parts you like.
Overall, this guy hiding behind his dog knows jack shit about working out.
@whoisderon @TrueNDLiving@DeanTTraining DEE, don’t listen to this dumbass. I’ve been accused of steroids very few times in my life because it’s that obvious I’m not on any.
This guy knows so little about training that he doesn’t even know what steroids looks like.
1 hour of cardio? GTFO who has time for that.
