fun story about the first time I saw Messi play 🐐

I was backpacking through Spain in 2012 and had just made my way to Barcelona

after touring the Sagrada Família, I was grabbing lunch when the pregame show for a Barça match came on the TV

I hopped the next train to Camp Nou and scalped a ticket outside the stadium

Messi scored 5 GOALS on Bayer Leverkusen that day

the first player in history to net 5 in a Champions League match

still the most dominant display I’ve seen live in any sport

I walked out of Camp Nou a fan for life. I even DJed Ushuaia Ibiza in his jersey

14 years later people tell me I look like him and I say thank you
