today it’s basic aggregation. next we get smarter about what to show you, and give you more and more customization, so the most relevant trading signals rise to the top

today’s crypto users have balances across a few apps. you can start that way on opensea too: create a fresh wallet in a couple taps, fund it with Apple Pay, and trade without thinking about chains or wallets

but over time we think you will want more control. so we’re launching:

- track everything: link any wallet into one view and track everything you own. wallets you’ve used on opensea before link in a couple taps via web
- trade from any of it: every account comes with a wallet ready to trade. import the wallets you already use and trade coins, memes, art, trading cards

I have a long history with @opensea. It was where I first listed my art for sale. It is where I made my first sale. I came into NFTs with no curator platform interest (many email attempts), so I went to the open platform to share my work like many of us did.

My whole story is there. You can see most of the movement happen on decentralized rails, held in the history tab on OpenSea.

Fast forward 4 years. OpenSea is presenting Birds in Marfa. I have so much gratitude for this opportunity.

We give platforms a lot of shit. I have empathy, having worked at a few. Wen airdrop? Why USDC? We bash them on the timeline and sometimes forget that behind every platform is a group of people.

OpenSea has one in particular who made Birds happen.

He fell in love with Birds via @RogerDickerman and wanted to show them. I think they had different expectations for what I would do, but they gave me grace to run and bring in patrons so we could run fast enough that we all just might fly.

It was Adam’s fire that relit the fire in me.

one of the most powerful features of the new opensea is the ability to see holder profiles across all major trading apps

By far the most useful feature is seeing top holders across all trading apps (Fomo, Pump, GmGn, etc)

Everything is so PVP and fragmented between different apps, having something to aggregate it is insanely helpful when researching coins

@Arif8000 users can import their wallets and link them all together into one single profile, which shows both their trades and their posts

everything onchain is already open. it just hasn't always been viewable in one place.

as liquidity moved from CEXs to onchain, it got split across dozens of DEXs. then we got DEX aggregation and that set the bar

chains are open, but for a while different EVM chains and solana lived in different apps. then we got cross-chain aggregation, and that set a new bar

social is public too, but each app has its own graph.

now we're introducing social aggregation: one feed with every trader, whatever app they use. follow them and get notified when they trade.

I was one of the lucky ones who got to test it early. They listened to our feedback and created an outstanding app.

For me, this app means a lot because i was able to trade coins, trade perps, check the prices of my NFTs, sell and buy NFTs, accept offers, and create offers, all from my taxi! (Yes, i’m a taxi driver IRL 😂)

Big respect to everyone who built this app. The amount of hours spent creating it and listening to the community really shows in the final result.
