@Five13Lax @laxcolumbus No. Not from him. He’d rather trying to hide behind convincing people it’s an OHSAA sport when it’s not to tear down 12-14 year old boys accomplishments that aren’t from Columbus & if they beat Columbus teams obviously they cheated to do it. 😂

@laxcolumbus None of the MS school teams in, near, or around Cinci or Dayton play under OHSAA or abide by OHSAA bylaws and rules. They are all part of Southern Ohio Youth Lacrosse, a US lacrosse body. Same as k-6, & have to have a US lacrosse number for every player. It’s not OHSAA in any way

@JBrady26134380 @laxcolumbus Clubs are nearly all MS programs outside of Columbus for the entire state. If that’s your worry wouldn’t Jones be disqualified too since they play with the same exact kids in actual summer ball tourneys with the Golden Bears lacrosse club?

@laxcolumbus Oh & I apologize, Bishop Fenwick in Springboro/Middletown has a feeder program but they struggle with numbers & a consistent coaching staff for MS. Didn’t wanna lie & say Jr. Crusaders was the only option. But what would I know, I’m only part of MS games for 6 years as a ref.

@laxcolumbus For being the “lax columbus” account you must not pay attention to MS lacrosse in Ohio.

1. It’s not sanctioned by OHSAA in any way, shape, or form. How do I know? I’ve been an official for lacrosse in Ohio for 6 years with OHSAA. So your point of OHSAA rules is pointless.

@laxcolumbus Example: Centerville, Bellbrook, Northmont, & more for MS rent park space for practices & games & those are some of the largest school districts in the Dayton area. Lacrosse in SW & west central Ohio isn’t what it is in Columbus yet. So clubs exist so kids get to play even at MS.

@laxcolumbus 3. My kid also plays for Reso Ohio & the MS team wouldn’t come close to beating his Reso state team.

4. Nearly every MS team near Dayton & Cinci are club. It’s rare of them to be sponsored or affiliated directly with to schools or allowed to use the facilities.
