@laxcolumbus@MattNStephenson Look, are the Crusaders going to get their 3 hoorays or not? I’m starting to get the feeling others aren’t happy for their hard work and success.
@laxcolumbus Your description of the Saints is exactly what the Crusaders program is. There is no tryout, no players are cut. If you register, you are on the team. They roster Catholic school boys who are going to Catholic high school. I knew we could all agree on this!

@laxcolumbus@brendangarry25 So…it’s exactly like the Crusaders? Who have registration, not tryouts. Roster Catholic school players, don’t cut anyone, and send their players to Catholic high schools. Ya know, I knew we’d eventually figure this out and quell this outrage. Thanks guy!
@laxcolumbus@brendangarry25 So…it’s exactly like the Crusaders? Who have registration, not try outs. They do not cut, they offer lacrosse for Catholic school students, and send their players to Catholic high schools. I knew we’d come to an agreement on this and quell this misplaced uproar. Whew! Thx guy!
@laxcolumbus@brendangarry25 So no one is allowed to win except a Columbus team? Got it.
If you haven’t noticed, the competition across the board in every region wasn’t very strong this season. The Crusaders are the best team in Ohio and it showed when they beat 4 straight Central region teams last weekend
@bfiorina@laxcolumbus Really? Because they had 25 8th graders. 20 went to Moeller and 5 went to x. Keep believing your alternative facts though.
The 2026 team has 25 8th graders. 19 going to Moeller, 5 going to x and 1 going to McNick. Zero - absolutely zero going to a public high school.
@WhichWichKing@laxcolumbus Crusaders beat Jones 6-1 in the Division I State Championship. Congratulations to a fantastic, well run, hard working lacrosse program! Well deserved! Great for Cincinnati Lacrosse! Three cheers! Hip-Hip! Hip-Hip! Hip-Hip! (Let’s hear it Columbus!)
@laxcolumbus Moeller also established the first lacrosse program southern Ohio in 1988. Their feeder should be competitive with that much history. Are we trying to grow the game or not fellas? The Crusaders are not Creek. What Creek did in 2023 was wrong, even if it was within the rules.
@laxcolumbus It’s important to realize that Columbus is primarily a public grade/high school city. Cincinnati is primarily a Catholic/private grade/high school city. Crusaders serve as a team for those grade school players who don’t have a team to play for. Like the Columbus Saints.
@laxcolumbus An absolute tragedy when Jones or another Columbus team doesn’t win the State Championship for the 15th time since 2004. 2/3rds of the championships since 04 aren’t enough? The Crusaders have been competing in this tournament for 25 years, they aren’t allowed to get better? FOH.
