The new Iran oil sale authorizations quietly hand the regime back what U.S. policy, Under President Obama, took away in 2012: a pathway into the U.S. dollar and our financial system. Based on President Trump’s and Secretary Bessent’s own statements, this may not be the relief they thought they were granting, but at a technical level, it’s exactly what the regime got.
