NEWS. Pre-budget announcements just out.
1. Mileage rate for work the existing rise from 45p to 55p under 10,000 miles to be made permanent. Rate for 10,000+ to rise from 25p to 35p (im guessing from April, I need to confirm). So this means you get this amount tax free for work or self-employed.
2. Parental pay to be extended to self-employed dads and partners who have previously missed out
3. Ending the Carer’s Allowance cliff edge (video explaining in prior post)
Also announcements on food tariffs, Post office drop boxes and likely new Warm Home Loans scheme (more details to come on that tomorrow).
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham has announced five "everyday fixes" ahead of the Budget
1. Carer's Allowance will be changed so carers no longer lose their entire benefit when they earn over the limit - instead, their support will reduce by £1 for every extra £1 they earn
2. Import tariffs will be removed on more than 100 products, including baked beans, chocolate and gherkins, to save households up to £21 on their food shop a year
3. Tax-free mileage rates for workers using their own cars will be made permanent at 55p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, with the rate for additional miles rising from 25p to 35p
4. Parental pay will be extended to over 150,000 more parents a year, including self-employed fathers and partners
5. Hundreds more Post Office drop boxes will be rolled out to save people queueing at branches
Stick with Carrick. They let Amorim finish 15th. The season has only just begun. Plenty of time to win some games and move up the table. Plus who replaces him?
Carrick may not be our long term (FFS none of us know who is!) but he does deserve 100% respect, loyalty and his shared love of the badge........drop Fernandes and anyone else who questions him !

Changing manager does not seem to work. Why not just keep the one we have for a few years, despite the poor results? Let him figure it out over time. Learn and improve. If that doesn’t work, so what? The other approach hasn’t either.
Worst start to #mufc season since Alex Ferguson took charge of the club. If social media had been a thing then people would’ve been baying for his blood. Instead he was allowed to work and build the club towards success. We need some patience with Carrick.
@HoldOn2YourWigs I believe Prince performed on most of these songs on the album, also a producer and co-writer, so still very much in Prince orbit. And a really good album also!
