🚨‼️ PolyUS is SCAMMING and refusing to acknowledge a glitch on some of their World Cup markets @Polymarket
PolyUS twice flipped a nuke position that I bought and then settled each as a loss. I bought “Czechia to not win the first half by over 1.5 goals” as shown in the first image. However, my position was altered upon refresh to the position shown in the last image, which is the opposite of what I bought.
Pretty concerning that this type of error is possible on a @CFTC regulated exchange, others who traded on this market also experienced the same issue. Customer support told myself and others that “there is no error and no refund will be given”
Screenshot #1 - the position I bought (before an additional order filled for 100 more shares)
Screenshot #2 - shows that I’m not taking crazy pills, the wording showed as a nuke despite the incorrect flag
Screenshot #3 - what my position ultimately flipped to, which is not what I bought
I lost several thousand dollars on the first glitch, which I which I didn’t have good screenshots for. I sized down for my second go here to bring to support to show there was a bug, but I got brushed off. In both cases, the flag was incorrect on my initial buy, but the wording of the play showed it as a nuke, which is how this should have resolved. I’ve also confirmed that I’m not the only one who got shafted by this glitch. Frustrating stuff 🧵
@BlaiseBets Because it’s promoting complete degeneracy. It’s that simple. No one cares what someone does individually but posting dogshit bets will inspire other people to lose a lot of money.
@bigtimepip@ChrisPomrink@RoyLangIII@JohnBollman11 Are you not understanding how much to bet on both sides? Do you not understand what a hedge is? This would just be a guaranteed $7800 profit and converting a 10000 bonus bet to 7800. This is zero risk. This wouldn’t even be the most profitable way to utilize the bet.
