@SwordMasterPub It's funny how you're calling into question Catholic history, when your church literally has no history before the nineteenth century. 🤔
@SwordMasterPub The Bereans checked Paul *against a community-held Scripture*, not private opinion. "Prove all things" assumes a standard outside yourself. Every heretic in history claimed the Bible proved them right. What standard do you use to know your interpretation of Scripture is correct?
@catholiccom@JimmyAkin3000 Jimmy, I enjoyed your recent episode about the sign of the cross. Have you thought about making one on the rosary? What is it? Why do Catholics do it? Is it required? Where did it come from? And why does it have disputed origins?
@PrezWisdom Grant & Reconstruction
Americans tend to know a lot about the civil war, but almost NOTHING about reconstruction.
The movie could be based on the work of Fergus Bordewich and his book "Klan War: Ulysses S. Grant and the Battle to Save Reconstruction"

Divorce . . . introduces disorder into the family and into society & brings grave harm to the deserted spouse, to children traumatized by the separation of their parents . . . its contagious effect is truly a plague on society.
