Spain's renewables build-out has structurally decoupled its electricity prices from gas markets.
Gas now sets the price in only 15% of hours, compared to 90% in Italy.
Countries that invested early in clean power are far less exposed to fossil fuel price shocks.
Labour knew they were lying when they said only they could beat Reform. Their own data would have indicated it after a certain point.
Which means only one thing: the objective was to deprive the Greens of votes so Reform COULD WIN. A Green win was the bigger worry.
You’ve seen what one Green in Byker can do, imagine a whole team 💚

The privately educated are over-represented in both parliament and media. This is especially striking in Reform UK, which, despite presenting itself as anti-elite and anti-establishment, has a much higher proportion of privately educated MPs than any other UK Party. Bosh.
@thewhiteman_10@Alex_Niven E.g. building a massive block of unaffordable flats in front of the best pub and the best view in Newcastle is just a shit idea imo...
@thewhiteman_10@Alex_Niven Sorry for missing mate. I think we win over both groups with an unrelenting focus on the cost of living crisis and the state of public services. I'm not also not sure urban libs necessarily demand the opposite.
