@SportWatcherPRO It’s the lack of rumors or anything going on with the team that has people frustrated. Although yes the window isn’t “open” yet it doesn’t stop you from signing people. It just prevents them from playing in the non existent games until that date.
@shitpost314@MattBakerSTL If you are wanting a dp striker in the summer you are losing the same GAM. We lost a mil because we went to a 3DP not because we used it on Cordova. Let’s say for whatever reason CITY signed Halaand in the summer we would still lose GAM because of the switch. Right?
@STLSoccerNews @RoccSTL I would argue that if orozco is in his position correctly then Edelman isn’t out of position. Overall I thought this was a positive first game. Has given some hope that we could be a bottom level playoff team
@diabolikdvd@IAmTroyR@TonyGuzman92@MLS Got to award the international cup spots somehow and do you really want 8 + months off from after the sports biggest tournament on home soil.
@pgoings@normalcontra@MLS@NashvilleSC And the league stated they will do their best to limit games in those regions. No different than MLB does at the beginning of their season. Yes there will be a brutally cold game in Chicago or NY but it would be at tops 4 games. If all 4 games were held at home.
@normalcontra@MLS@NashvilleSC And the mls doesn’t care because you are still going to buy tickets at a much higher per game rate than season ticket price. And there revenue stays roughly the same
@normalcontra@MLS@NashvilleSC Being in STL I would rather stand in 20 degree weather than the 100+ any day. And realistically how often are there brutal cold days in STL/nashville in Nov. Not many. For the overall growth this is the best way to attract top talent which the league needs desperately
@normalcontra@MLS@NashvilleSC So you’re telling me that if Nashville was in the playoffs right now you wouldn’t go to a game? A quarter of the teams are still playing soccer currently late into November. The season already starts last week of February so they moved it up 2 more weeks.
