🇺🇸🇮🇷 The U.S. strike mission inside Iran turned into a full-scale survival fight

Two F-15Es flew low to hit a bunker, but the moment they climbed to release the bomb, they were exposed.

Missiles locked on, one jet was hit, and the crew ejected deep in mountainous terrain.

From there, everything escalated fast.

Iranian forces moved in to capture them, A-10s rushed to protect the downed airman and opened fire on ground units, but one of those jets was hit too and went down trying to escape.

Then came the rescue.

Helicopters pushed in, got ambushed, took heavy fire, crews were injured, and the entire mission turned into a fight just to stay alive.

F-35s had to strike air defenses just to keep the extraction going.

And despite all that chaos, damaged aircraft and overloaded helicopters still made it out.

A brutal fight just to bring one pilot home.
