I had rewatched to see if I can find any stuff I had missed and saw Bill completely turning around and running instead of falling. So yeah. I believe he's alive now. Plus Kane voices everyone so it's a bit confusing.

With the exception of Avan Jogia reprising his role as Naren, everyone else in Backrooms: Everything Must Go is voiced by Kane.
At the start, Naren is accompanied by Aaron Ng and Bill, and Ronald McCarthy later takes Aaron’s place during the expedition.
