@letgoofmyfannie The Killing was fantastic too. I totally forgot about Jackie Treehorne—I might have to rewatch that. Faces was the only one so far that didn’t blow me away. It felt like an American La Dolce Vita, not quite the developed style.
Ok, I love this album now. I first discovered it because Alex Chilton covered a couple of songs from it, and I've always liked it, but now that I've heard all of their albums leading up to it I get why some people say it's their best. I love that brassy synth sound.
@deluxemixing Just incredible! Haha. I don’t know, it’s just such a close study of two characters that you just never see in movies. And such incredible performances
