Mayfield PD: “Last night storms and catastrophic tornado was a stressful night for our citizens. Approximately 90% of the city is utter destruction. We have reason to believe that approximately 78 people was killed in last night storms in Mayfield. This toll is supposed to rise.”
@dakotajane84 approximately 317 miles starting in Jonesboro, Ark to Southeast of Louisville, Kentucky and STILL in warning of a possible tornado. insane
The storm that spawned the damage in Jonesboro, Mayfield, Burton and now currently Southeast of Louisville, has broken the record for the longest lasting tornado consistently on the ground with approximately 317 miles on the ground, lasting between 5-6 hours. Insane.
@TheJenNMX Nobody has time for climate change argument right now. There are people’s lives being torn apart right now due to these tornadoes. Tornado season happens between November through July. No need to complain about climate change being a thing. Sorry if I’m being rude
@RyGuyHet You probably won’t see any pictures until the first light of day brother. Best bet is to listen to the trusted sources on what’s going on in Mayfield.
We have people trapped at a Candle Factory in Mayfield
And houses either destroyed to the foundation and others with significant damage. Main Street in Mayfield has taken a direct hit
@DianaJo56923173@ReedTimmerAccu Everything is down in Mayfield. It took a direct hit from one of the nastiest tornadoes I’ve seen in a decade. Not good
