Perhaps the greatest compliment that someone can be paid, is to be complimented by your colleagues. Serving alongside @BradRossComms was an absolute highlight. His wisdom, strategic acumen & relentless sense of humour are things I will forever be thankful for. Thank you sir!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. In addition to this being an evening I will never forget, we raised money for the PTSI Centre of Excellence at @RunnymedeHC!
The Charity Gala for the retirement of Chief Matt Pegg was last week. The event was a great success and we were happy to be a part of it. Once again, thank you for all of your hard work Chief, its time to kick back and relax. Enjoy your retirement. @chiefpeggtfs @toronto_fire

Pulling the door closed on this office, for one last time, is surreal. Thank you @Toronto_Fire and @TPFFA for the privilege of serving alongside you for the past 11 years - and the last 8 as Chief. With gratitude and respect.
My friend, few know better than you how daunting a task it is to make me speechless! You have achieved that with your humbling post. It has been nothing less than an honour and privilege to work alongside you - and especially to call you my friend.
@TPSMyronDemkiw Likewise my friend. I will forever be proud of the collaboration and partnership between @Toronto_Fire and @TorontoPolice and will always appreciate your friendship, support and leadership. Stay safe.
Words can’t explain what I feel right now, having relinquished command of @Toronto_Fire this afternoon. On top of my emotions stands gratitude. Having served alongside these amazing professionals is the honour and privilege of a lifetime. Thank you one and all. @TPFFA
Today we held the relinquishment of command ceremony for Fire Chief Matthew Pegg as he signs off after 32 years of service. Thank you @ChiefPeggTFS for your unwavering dedication to courage, compassion, and service to our community! #Toronto
I am relieved to advise that our officer’s injuries are serious, but not life-threatening. I was joined tonight at the hospital by Deputy Chief Lauren Pogue and other police officers to support him and his family. This is the 637th officer injured in the line of duty so far this year and a sobering reminder of the risks our officers face every day as they serve and protect our great city.
The Retirement Charity Gala for Chief Matthew Pegg is two days away, we have initiated an online auction so that everyone has the chance to support these great charities. Please follow this link to the auction https://t.co/YjeBVJThrN @chiefpeggtfs
@DanVieiraTFS @Toronto_Fire@CP24 Over the course of my 8+ years in the @Toronto_Fire Fire Chief role, I have welcomed more than 1,100 new staff into roles within our service. I will forever treasure the energy, passion and excitement that is commonplace in each recruit class and graduation. Congrats one and all.
Two years ago today, one of the bravest & kindest people I’ve known was murdered in a cowardly and senseless act of violence. @TorontoPolice Constable Andrew Hong, or “Honger” as I knew him, was my friend and was larger than life. Rest easy Honger. You are missed. #HeroesInLife
Sept. 11, 2001. 343 @FDNY firefighters perished along with far too many others due to senseless acts of violence. Today, we pause to reflect and remember all whose lives were lost and affected. Spread ❤️ #OTD#LODD (📷Aaron McLamb/NY Daily News)
