@EastMidRailway This all makes me late for my direct @LNER train from Doncaster to Alnmouth, which means I'll need an extra connection via @northernassist in Newcastle. Let's see if @CrossCountryUK let me take their direct train from Doncaster instead.
@EastMidRailway thanks EMR, first train of my day and it's already an hour late. "Staff shortages in London". Did you not think to plan for this on the first working day after Christmas?!
Now that train has had most of the stops cut off, so it no longer goes to the station I need it to. The next train is even later. Thanks again, @EastMidRailway
@LNER Hi Rob, are all trains this coming saturday really sold out between Kings Cross and Darlington? Says they are all sold out on the site, but there's like 20 trains.
@RobertJRElliott [2] There will likely be an agreement in the coming years which will have a form of regulatory allegiance with the EU for Services, either in full or in the form of a 'ring-fence' around EU access. You cannot critique a deal that does not yet exist.

@RobertJRElliott That's because it is exactly what it says on the tin - a trade agreement for goods. A secondary agreement will take longer to negotiate with 'equivalence' granted in the meantime. It is too complex a deal to construct within a year.
@JohnStuartWilso @AndyAtLockerbie @crims273@NicolaSturgeon@ScotParl Scotland also has a far higher debt (nearly triple, on UK figures), a budget deficit (while they run a surplus) and $12k lower GDP per capita. Not very comparable at all, as Denmark is a far more advanced economy by most measures.
@realDonaldTrump selected Amy Coney Barrett to take her place at the US Supreme Court. As these roles are for life, and she is only 48, this will change the shape of the US court for a generation. Pro life, and may have a say in the election result. https://t.co/01h0CpDasT
