@Mark49566754823@neilcarter1362@_lileddie_eth@Nigel_Farage Even if you assume 2 incomes and double it, it’s still less buying power than one person in 1970 had.
Boomers had it so fucking easy, and then they picked up the ladder snapped it in half and burned it. And now they’re complaining they can’t squeeze anymore out of the country.
@Mark49566754823@neilcarter1362@_lileddie_eth@Nigel_Farage But, that doesn’t take into account that the price of goods and services has increased exponentially and wages haven’t followed.
The average worker now has significantly lower spending power than someone in 1970.
Seems Mark is the Bellend, since he can’t do basic maths.
@Mark49566754823@neilcarter1362@_lileddie_eth@Nigel_Farage The maths is really easy to do yes. I’ll do it for you since you seem incapable.
Average wage was about £1000 a year
Average house cost £4k that’s 4 years salary to buy a house assuming no outgoings.
Average wage is now £35k average house cost 293k that’s 8.4 years.
@BillyBoyRB@Gazzy87994@GoodwinMJ No one in 2063 will be growing up anyways, so it’s all pointless arguing about it.
The planet will be mostly devoid of human life by that time if we don’t do something about climate collapse.
@TBlighe@CryptoTaxJme Doge spent more money than it saved and almost all of the programs it cancelled were reinstated by judges for being illegally stopped.
Respectfully Tony, you have no clue what you’re talking about.
@antmcguire@Luis_Cook1@jakonian Twice in the 2 years that have reform have held a seat. The others have had plenty in the past when they’ve held seats!
@Luis_Cook1@jakonian Might be worth it for you to fire up those 2 brain cells and realise that they’ve been investigated twice in the 2 years they have had a seat in parliament.
They’re a newborn political party.
How many investigations have the others had in past years?
@Jenny_1884 I mean you have highlighted exactly why we get others to do it for us now in this tweet.
They didn’t exist back in the day, people saw a thing people wanted and made a market for it.
Nothing to do with laziness, it’s just more commonplace to have specialised shops now!
@LilacDrago14473@darrengrimes Ah yes let’s stop spending on net zero. What a great idea. It’s not like it would generate us billions in profit, create new industries and jobs, clean the air in our cities, while removing our reliance on fossil fuels.
@danhinvesting Hmm yes promoting slavery wages, what a great idea!
The companies that illegally fund reform LTD definitely don’t have anything to do with this idea…
