What is the target audience ?

What is it trying to say ?

I'm a long term shareholder and FWIW I think you should consider your target audience before starting work on a video. Is it an explainer for end users, an investor pitch, a B2B pitch, a pitch to regulators, a pitch to vertiport planning authorities ?

UK has great innovations, but our marketing skills are lacking.

Agreed. The clue is in the name, a tax on the value you've added to the stuff you've bought to do the job.

Most affected by VAT are businesses that are mainly labour, because they don't need to buy much, like gardeners and decorators.

It's pretty crazy to think how much tax an end user pays for someone's labour: NI + income tax, then 20% VAT on top of that.
