I ordered a ยฃ630 phone from Amazon on 19/10/23. It wasn't delivered to me and I've been told that it will not be refunded. Amazon couldn't provide proof for this delivery. No delivery email, no text, no photo of the parcel

@SQLBrethen This is a very interesting perspective. Traditionally, the appeal of working on a known product is that you can say you did it. But this puts a whole other spin on things.

Hence, when someone tells me they built something at a massive company, Iโm always skeptical; what do you mean by โbuiltโ?

I get where this thread comes from but I also think it is a very narrow view of things. I said in the past that tech workers would soon become like oil workers affected easily by economic booms and busts but the pandemic changed many things and made many tech jobs fully global.
@jola_adebayor Never a good idea to compete in price alone but many business do it with significant success.
I think it's especially effective if you're new on the scene and need to stake your claim FAST
