Newark Business Club: May Highlights:
What a way to start the month! Driving into the meeting in that glorious May sunshine set the perfect tone for what turned out to be a landmark morning for the club. The business club has officially sprung into a new era with Emma Holden taking charge of her first meeting as Chair. Beyond the leadership transition, we had plenty of business to get stuck into:
We heard from Gaz Creswell from HiPer Business Solutions gave us a deep dive into centralising operations and automating workflows. His walkthrough on how they audit and evolve systems for growth was a real eye-opener for anyone looking to scale up their business. Club Connections was launched a brand-new feature! This is all about highlighting the synergy in the room by having members shout out the people they’re currently working with. It was lovely to hear the gratitude flowing. Handing over the Reins We also took a serious moment to recognise the incredible contribution of Michael Hardy. Michael has done a lot for the club during his time as Action Group Chair and committee member.
He is now stepping away to hand the reins to Chris Needle, who will be bringing some new energy to the role. Well done, Michael, and all the best with the Highwaymen!
