For those wondering the homework prompt is to develop a program to determine if someone is eligible for services at Hawaii Legal Aid based on their household size and household income according to the federal poverty guidelines.
Out of curiosity I put in the first HW assignment for Coding for Lawyers into ChatGPT. It solved it but used coding elements not taught yet, making it obvious. So I told it to rewrite it without using those elements and the answer could easily fool me if a student turned it in.
@gnugro @tiffanycli@a2jlab They generally enjoyed them. We did it as part of a study to test the effectiveness of VR trainings for attorneys. Unfortunately, the study fell apart for non tech reasons so we never got definitive results. My hope one day is to reattempt the study.
