U.S. CPI headline inflation rose to 3.7% year-over-year in September, up from 3.4% in August and above expectations for an increase to 3.6%. Core inflation rose to 2.6%, up from 2.4% and above expectations for an increase to 2.5%.
Probabilities for a Federal Reserve rate hike on October 28th increased to 42%, up from 22% yesterday.
@BotTheWrongDip@KenSchaus Follow the rates. This is from an article I wrote and the graphic explains the CAD decline. Also important question is to ask if US rates can also be hiked faster than expected? (Just as important to ask). Hikes are priced in. And what’s priced in decides the exchange.

USDA Report U.S. Ending Stocks Estimates:

@Agridome Like for instance Phil... Chat GPT is better than rock paper scissors... When you need to pick who has to do something, just make an deal to ask Chat GPT to pick a number between 1-100 and who ever gets closest wins...(and just always pick 73...).
@Agridome No base to compare them to either given this is their first estimate - even if correct in the end - still have to take as a grain of salt till a few years of data is out. This will be the norm with AI as well.
