Britain had a moment of silence for George Floyd. Our politicians kneeled en masse to show their outrage at his killing. "I can't breathe" became a slogan.
George Floyd died on the other side of the world. He wasn't British.
Henry Nowak *was* British and his treatment by the police was shocking and negligent in the extreme. Yet there is no minute of silence. There is no coordinated public campaign. There is no kneeling at sporting events.
And we all know why.
During the summer of BLM, some people said "All Lives Matter". This was treated as the highest form of racism and anyone who said this was immediately cancelled. Why? Because the people in charge don't actually think all lives matter in the same way.
They have created a racial hierarchy of victimhood where a career criminal who died through mistreatment by police in a foreign country with 0 evidence of racism like George Floyd is automatically sanctified because of the colour of his skin.
And Henry Nowak, a British man, one of ours, is automatically dismissed and ignored because of the colour of his.
This is the ugly fruit of so-called "anti-racism", an obsession with race that has created a two-tier society which treats people differently because of the colour of their skin.
This needs to stop.
@teamvowles If Dorilton sell and Williams are no more, will be enough for me to stop watching F1 as I won't be supporting another team after following Williams since early 90's.
The Prime Minister is a national distraction.
Millions of people are struggling to pay the bills, but Boris Johnson and his government are spending the whole time mopping up their own rule-breaking, sleaze and deceit.
He’s got to go.
@Keir_Starmer A while ndfall tax just takes money out of my pocket, into the pocket of the Energy companies and into the public purse for you to spend on fucking net Zero.
I want the money in my pocket. Stop them profiteering.
I don't want you to have more of my money.
Honesty and integrity matter.
Today’s humiliating climb-down showed that the Conservatives know they can no longer defend the indefensible.
It has never been more clear that Boris Johnson's authority is shot and he is unable to lead.
Britain deserves better.
@GuvnorRhys First thought after the final whistle was this match has probably cost him the full time job.
Leeds got away with a couple of decisions but the performance, set up and tactics were way below par. Leeds looked the team in the top 3 and we looked like the team fighting at bottom.
In the 2025–26 financial year, the UK Treasury received £331 billion in Income Tax. In the same period, the Government spent £333 billion on welfare.
This situation is clearly unsustainable and requires urgent change.
For the first time ever, we’re now spending more on welfare than we raise from those who are actually working.
We need to change course: cut the burden on hard-working taxpayers, reward their effort, and create real incentives for more people to get into work and contribute.
The current path isn’t fair — and it can’t last.
What do you think needs to happen? 👇
Conor Benn- officially on fraud watch
Suddenly started knocking everyone out over an 18 month period before he popped for PEDS
Came back for a couple of fights and completely lost his knockout power
Lost to a weight drained Eubank, who had to adhere to a rehydration clause
Beat a weight drained Eubank, who had to adhere to a rehydration clause
Fights an injured, washed 140 guy Prograis at 150, with no rehydration clause for Benn, and stinks it out to a points win- again the concussive power that suddenly came, suddenly went
No area, no British, no European, no world title at any weight
Not a single opponent in their prime
Hasn’t fought at 147 for 4 years but is to get a mandatory for a WBC 147 shot
🚨| Sandro Tonali's and Bruno Guimarães' respective camps are fighting AGAINST each other by making their availability known.
Both players are aware that if ONE leaves, the other WON'T, so they are TRYING to get a potential move in place before the other does

@theRealEnzoMac@DannyBoyFrost You always see fighters tell the Ref they are ok to carry on.
Way to brave for their own good.
Great career and another great of Welsh boxing 👊🏻
Our pilot of new incentives to remove failed asylum seeking families will save taxpayers up to £20 million.
Here's why 👇
1. It costs 158k to put up a family of 3 in an asylum hotel for 1 year. It costs 48k more to forcibly remove someone. A 10k per person incentive, up to a max of 40k per family, will save money.
2. If someone refuses an incentive, we will move to a forced removal. If you have no right to be in this country, you should not be allowed to stay.
3. There is nothing new about incentive payments. The Tories did it. Even Reform say they will do it.
4. Higher incentives have worked in Denmark. 95% of returns there are voluntary.
5. These incentives are not a pull factor. Asylum claims in Denmark are at a 40-year low. And asylum seekers spend tens of thousands of pounds getting to this country, that's more than any incentive payment.
6. This is a pilot of 150 families. We will see if it works and scale it if it does. That's taking a smart approach, that saves taxpayers' money, to restoring order at our borders. I make no apology for doing that.
