@GabeWashel@rakenworthy@titobandana@hankgreen@randomly_a I think that depends on the complexity of the job. But, also in a workday, wouldn't that be bad if a worker HAD to look up 99% of what they were doing? That's indicative of a novice, and that seems like low job security, or at least inefficient, to >remain< at that level.
@AnnieTangent ...somewhere. But if none of that speakz to you, I'd imagine pausing, and resting, and healing, and writing will open you up to things to move towards. Or just trying new things. Sometimes stillness is exactly what's needed! Good luck to you Annie!
@AnnieTangent behind. Perhaps you can find a place in an alternative school like Brooklyn Free School or Agile Learning Center. Or explore platforms like uschool or outschool. Speaking selfishly as a UFTer, the union was stronger with you in it, so perhaps there's an organizing role for you...
@jjacobs22 You've been asking, what's an alternative? I'd say the failure point in the U.S. wasn't technological improvement. The failure point was/is regulatory capture by the fossil fuel industry. That's a choice, and the industry keeps doubling down on profits over people.
@elissadunnlevy@drloriandersen I had students link arms and then hop onto a table in sort of a frame by frame way to try to demonstrate why the wave travels down the string (crouching could also work). And then have them consider how a wave could move through air if there aren't those links - a hip to hip bump
@JesseJenkins Here's a potential lead for you from NYSERDA:https://t.co/GCnQ2VXpzs
Not sure how much data is publicly available on the implementation side of things though
Alex refused to stop playing the piano, DEFIANTLY playing louder against the soaring bomb sirens in #Ukraine, as an “inner protest to sirens, bombs, murders, war!”✊

@atrembath Your criticism rings hollow if you can't address why mobilization to restructure and transition our economy has barely even begun in the three decades since Hansen testified in front of a Senate Committee? The film tells a story. Do you have a more accurate one?
@atrembath @GhostPanther @ForeignPolicy You write "Transitioning away from fossil fuels requires nothing less than the wholesale reinvention and reconstruction of the planet’s entire infrastructure", but technologies are researched and invested in and scaled up through legislation...
@atrembath @GhostPanther @ForeignPolicy Why isn't the Republican party coming to the table and arguing for solutions that add up, >even now<? Isn't >that< part of the story pretty simple?
@atrembath @GhostPanther @ForeignPolicy and incentivizing the private sector and mobilizing the country. Our economy can be steered to transition. Why has that mobilization barely even begun in the three decades since Hansen testified in front of a Senate Committee? ...
@ShellenbergerMD@richardabetts I don't get it, significant doesn't have an absolute meaning - it depends on context. Your original tweet is vague at best, and you're doing very little to clarify what seems to be miscommunication.
