Childcare costs in Wales are some of the highest in the UK - Plaid Cymru knows this isn’t as good as it gets.
We are rolling out 20 hours of childcare a week for 48 weeks a year, for every child aged between 9 months and 4 years.
🚨During the campaign, @Plaid_Cymru promised to stand up for Wales, and demand the fairness we deserve from Westminster on issues such as HS2.
In government, we’re already delivering on that promise 🏴
@VaughanRoderick angen cywiriad os gwelwch yn dda - wedi fy ngeni a’m magu yn Nhorfaen a wedi byw rhan fwyaf o fy mywyd yma ar wahan i ychydig flynyddoedd yn gweithio ac astudio yn Aberystwyth. Byth wedi byw yn Islwyn. A’n hymgyrch hir a brysur ni wedi arwain gan bobl lleol. 🏴
Young people are let down by a lack of opportunities and an education system that doesn’t prepare them for the world of work.
Education should prepare learners for life, not just exams.
Our skills audit will align education and training with the needs of the Welsh economy. 🏴
Happy Pride month ❤️
Mae Plaid Cymru yn ymrwymo i amddiffyn hawliau pobl LHDTC+, ac i bawb byw yn rhydd o ragfarn, anfoesoldeb a chasineb
Plaid Cymru is committed to protecting LGBTQ+ rights of people in Wales, so that everyone can live free from prejudice, intolerance and hate
I just watched the #BBCLauraK interview with Nicola Sturgeon - a very tough interview, completely undermined by trivial questions about her sexuality at the end. What was the point of that?
✍🏻 Proud to be one of the youngest in the Senedd, a young working class woman who lives in the Valleys, and part of a Plaid Cymru group that looks like the communities we represent. From all walks of life, with 60% being women, all here to build a better Wales.
I’ve written about what that means to me and for Cymru for Wales Online.
Yet another hit for households.
People need to see their energy bills coming down, not going up.
Plaid Cymru has long called for a number of measures and targeted support to bring bills down and help communities across Wales during this crisis.
And whether they are fully fledged citizens or not - accessible healthcare is so important to make sure people understand why they are ill and how they can get better
I'm shocked by this and hope that this view is not shared by any of your Conservative colleagues @AndrewRTDavies
It's absolutely disgraceful that an MS is endorsing taking the right to healthcare advice and understanding away from people - people who could have lived in the UK for decades legally and still need clarity in their diagnosis or to understand how they need to take medication.
Plaid Cymru separatists confirm they support funding foreign translation services in our NHS.
To stamp out health tourism, these interpreters must go.
Any other legislation that prevents them being scrapped has to go too.
A 13% rise in the energy price cap is simply unaffordable.
The UK Government must do all it can to protect households.
I am reiterating my call on the PM to convene a four nations summit to agree action to bring down the energy price cap before further pressures in the autumn.
@SamSmithHiggins Thank you for posting about clicking the link you were sent before that! Posting that made me realise your message to me was fake! And welcome back!
Labour lost on May 7 because they failed to understand Wales.
Wes Streeting today revels in ignorance by comparing Plaid Cymru’s inclusive internationalism with Reform UK’s divisive populism.
Welsh voters know the difference. Labour should too. https://t.co/hQlREIP68D
