Ministry vehicles are under the spotlight — reckless driving, misuse, and breaking traffic rules will no longer be tolerated.

The EPS Auto System will soon be active and watching. Offenders will be automatically tracked and penalized.

UNDERWAY: A comprehensive inspection of all Y.Y Coaches buses is ongoing at the Namanve Motor Vehicle Inspection Station following a directive from the Minister of State for Works & Transport [Transport] @HonByamukama .

This follows recent road crashes involving the company’s buses along Katosi— Kyetume—Nyenga/Njeru and Pakwach—Arua highways.

The Ministry has since suspended their operations for 15 days to allow for thorough investigations and a full compliance audit before resumption of operations.
