@mayorofutopia_ I was pregnant at 13 following years of rape and abuse. My mum put pressure on me not to abort. I was ill with pre-eclampsia and then had a horrendous birth with no epidural, shoulder dystocia and a third degree tear. With an abortion, I would have been saved from further trauma.
just saw a deputy executive director of progressive victory say that the number one group of people kicked from PV are "reactionary trans women who are sexist against trans men", look at my progressive organizations dawg we are never getting rid of transmisogyny 😭
@aMoral_Mistake@wise_prism As opposed to a biological man with a sparkly dress and an intense hatred of women. I’m not the one making excuses for filth, OP was.
@WomensRightsNet@jan_murray I had one that was botched and they injured me in the process. I then got an infection which spread causing peritonitis and sepsis. I didn’t have any pain relief during the procedure and it was excruciating.
@autumnrain80@stefisgirlnow Lol you pretend to be reasonable and about building bridges and then compliment someone who defended a comment saying all ‘AFABs’ should be raped.
@JennaJacobin@stefisgirlnow Defending someone saying that all females should be raped is a pretty big fuck up. Doubling down afterwards just proves the original interpretation was accurate. So much for you being one of the reasonable ones Jenna.
I'm happy to recognise specific forms of oppression and mistreatment targeting trans women.
But when I raise specific forms that only affect trans men and/or females, that's decried as transmisogyny.
“vcoding against trans men exists its just magically nobodys ever spoken about it or documented it ever”
a lot of you genuinely think our experiences being factually worse is because we get a lot of attention on our issues and we are privileged enough to get coddled 1/
I don't see women as walking vaginas. I'm attracted to the whole woman. Her personality, her appearance and yes, her body.
There are traits that trans women will never have and I'm not a bigot for not being attracted to them as a result.
