Is it much? No. Is it College Football? Yes!

(FYI: Going to try to drop every Thursday around 12:30 PM this season, barring work/life getting in the way.)
@daltine_cracker Woke up my two month old baby jumping around like an idiot when this happened. She just turned 5 and wife still gives me hell about it
Actually,
LSU will be the first school to attempt to defy the SEC’s inter-conference transfer rule.
Not to mention, Todd Monken mentioning Lane called him two weeks ago asking about a player on his NFL roster.
Making you the first school to tamper with the NFL.
NEW: Texas Tech is also eyeing former Texas State QB Paul Blake.
Blake is best remembered for beating #1 Texas during the 1991 season and has 3 years of eligibility remaining.
Few things…
- If I was GM of an NFL franchise I’d blacklist Wright. Any guy going back to cfb from the NFL is uncompetitive
- Any coach who takes a NFL player loses all rights to bitch and moan about “the state of college sports”
- It’s perfectly fine to call these players, coaches and schools out for this behavior. Just because something is legal it doesn’t mean you have to do it.
Nothing like a little irony here in Iowa. In a game built, in part, around the story of Shoeless Joe Jackson and his second chance after being banned as part of the Black Sox scandal, there are gambling ads in each outfield corner.
Friendly reminder that only Pete Rose and Ty Cobb have more career hits than Hank Aaron (3771) and that Aaron has 478 more career home runs than Cobb and Rose combined.
The Padres have one of the worst farm systems in baseball, and acquired Robbie Ray and, reportedly, Casey Mize.
The Braves, with a much stronger system, added Tyler Mahle.
NEW: Florida HC Jon Sumrall’s wife just exposed his soft side:
“He loves pedicures… That’s his favorite extra thing to do. Every two weeks during the football season, Jon loves to get a pedicure.” 😳
