@daveanthony DSA LA is fairly uniformly backing her and, especially at this late date, the national org is entirely incapable of hurting DSA-LA's campaign. A lot of this internal politics is because *other DSA counselors* in LA endorsed Bass, which many chapters think is bad.

@jarjoh @timerube Indeed we can do both, and such a platform would attract broad support. Instead every post i see about this imagines the dsa right wants to level all public housing or that the dsa left wants to ban all new development! If not even a dsa mayor can break through what will?

@timerube Like you're critique is pretty obvious right but for every nimby public housing resident (seen here) opposing the development there's a developer who wants to kill all government run housing supporting it. DSA should have its own line!
