Pelech is very tradeable. I would go as far as to say we must trade him to make room. If you can get let’s say pick 20 and a depth pick in return for him from SJ, you can immediately turn that around to LA for Brandt Clarke. Solidifying Schaefers pairing long term with an NHL ready asset far outweighs Pelechs value to us moving forward.
@TrustInConroy@PizzaSportsGuy I would happily give the Jets Holmstrom for pick 8. Start calling everyone in the top 5 to see if anyone wants to trade down or pick with both and end/hope to end the retool immediately.
I had no idea he wasn’t in the hall of fame, I always assumed he was. RIP Claude Lemieux

Claude Lemieux was one of the best playoff players of all time. The players with more playoff goals than his 80 -- Gretzky, Messier, Kurri, Brett Hull, Anderson, Bossy, Sakic, Maurice Richard. That's it.
Probably should be in the Hall of Fame.
