@themagic_tophat It's not mate. Clean tackle and any contact afterwards is incidental. Martinelli also could have stayed on his feet after he jumped rather than flop.
@MUFC99Box Fully agree. Definition of a cheque book manager and will always have an asterix next to his name for that.
I would say this season is his biggest challenge by far. Oh and look what he's gone and done, spent another 100M in January because his team are behind. Case in point.
@_PhilCosta Also, didn't you recently say on AVP that you don't believe Pep is a checkbook manager? (could have been someone else tbf). But what more evidence do you need? If Pep isn't a checkbook manager then they don't exist!
@_PhilCosta They have to take something Phil, madness to not take 20m when he'd be leaving for nothing in 5 months. Sure a big club might do it, but a club like Palace can't.
@yeuke_@UMykeal@_Tobolos_ 100% agree with this. Ball striking is a clear weakness for Timber. White has above average ball striking for a fullback, which is what makes him more threatening going forward.
@Gunnersc0m Absolutely no chance considering the defensive injuries - unless we sign another RB. I doubt Ben would want to leave when the team is contention for trophies either. Also doubt Everton could match his salary..
@UMykeal@_Tobolos_ Agree, but you have the ball striking the wrong way around. That's definitely one of Timbers weaknesses, his shots and crosses often aren't good enough. White is superior in that area, making him more effective around the box - hence the perspective he's better going forward.
@Teamgyokeres Raya is basically an 11th outfield player he's that good with his feet, and has had the best season so far. Doesn't get the recognition he deserves.
Sanchez is a donkey and doesn't even belong in this conversation.
@Omahh_11 Love Leo and he's 100% a cult hero, but respectfully Santi was a much betyer player for us. Numbers aren't everything, and Santi mostly played in a double pivot for us, whereas Leo plays in a front 3. When you reconsider the numbers in that context it's a different conversation.
@formularacers_ Ricciardo easily the best driver on that list, was a top 5 driver before the last regs which never suited him. Even won a race in a slow McLaren before Lando. His results at AT/RB weren't good enough but he wasnt any worse than his team mate. Deserves another shot for sure.
@beINSPORTS_EN@richardajkeys What is this dinosaur on about? Andy actually providing decent analysis and then this guy punching below the belt by generalising the opinion of a extreme minority. Embarrassing and unprofessional punditry.
