About a month back, Olise wiped his Instagram clean. Many speculated that he was pressuring Bayern Munich’s management as chatter about Real Madrid circled. But the truth turned out to be something entirely different.

Olise has a private photographer, Florence Pernet, who accompanies him to every match, capturing unique moments that differ from the usual media shots. He consistently shares only her work on his Instagram. The twist is that during the World Cup, U.S. authorities denied her entry.

In solidarity, Olise opted to remove all his posts. He refrained from sharing anything other than the shots she takes from the TV screen. If you peek at his account now, every picture appears as if it’s been captured from a screen rather than live.

Florence is at home, valued and well-supported, watching him on TV and snapping photos of the screen. Meanwhile, he completely bypasses the crisp 4K images and professional snaps taken for him, solely sharing her images.

Honestly, this entire situation has only deepened my respect and admiration for Olise. Kudos to his parents for raising such a principled, humble individual who never forgets those who support him and always has their back ❤️
