@JoshCPinn The more you watch it, the more there is to dissect.
Still can’t work out how ball ended up where it did? dead ball or batsmen smashed it as soon as it left bowlers hand.
@ardenstreetnuff If Dom Sheed missed that goal, he would be seen in a completely different way.
He rebuilt a team and got them within a kick of a flag, also set the list up for McRae to come on and get the prize.
I think he can be an even better coach without the Collingwood burden.
@MervHughes332 Let’s be honest, no one gives a stuff about odi rankings apart from World Cup qualification. Main aim is to win World Cup every 4 years.
@MattSmith_567@marvelstadiumau@NBA Tried it a few years ago between Usa and boomers didn’t they?
Don’t think it worked well with people on ground struggling to see bottom with court raised.
@SirFingGrumpy@Nrvs90s Cricket really is a secondary sport for the grounds in Australia now, so they want them perfect for football which they get bigger crowds and more revenue for.
@professorpunts Metrop is dead now as it isn’t a gp1, main ambition for those horses is a Melbourne cup. If there is a race of similar quality on same day with a golden ticket, you would be stupid not to go there, especially if not guaranteed a cup start.
@AndrewNJHawkins I understand top few are ballot exempt due to winning qualifiers but even though it makes no difference how can last years winner not be ballot exempt also?
@AndrewNJHawkins I look at that and think of how are they going to fit spectator facilities in to hold a decent crowd Cox plate day. I think will be sensational but not sure about crowd capacity.
@Racing_Previews Not ideal for sure but better than not having the chance to have best possible field. Ideal world nothing changes but at moment you don’t get the best.
When you have horses like Sheza alibi, ceowulf who would target race in years gone by, now likely not going there says it all.
@Mattunchained Keep it at Flemington and run it on what is now champions day. Run champions stakes and mile on current cox plate day as lead up races.
Or at least try it for couple of years before the valley is remotely capable of hosting it again.
@tommorris32@1116sen@7AFL As a pies supporter it leaves a bitter taste. If Suns are willing to offer 2 years for a bloke whose body let both him and club down last 2 seasons, good luck to them.
He is mad not to take offer and if his ambitions are to coach Collingwood in future, this is ideal
@deeceepee80 Got to think of bonuses, we got games into kids we probably wouldn’t have otherwise. Get another preseason into them and they should only improve. Just need to get Neale to help while kids develop
If Mcstay carries his last 8 weeks into next year he is All Australian.
@deeceepee80 2nd half of season was a write off for Maynard, what he did play he was a man possessed. As well as no Perryman which made Houston accountable which he is no good at.
Plus losing Steene meant Cameron was one up all year.
