Justin I’m sorry to say you are very very wrong on this one. My family goes back generations as native NYers and what canal street has turned into is VERY different.
It is a full blown open air drug market now with extremely aggressive counterfeit vendors and now open air drug dealers.
(No one cares about them selling fake stuff! We care about what it has become and that is a full blown open air drug market!)
I run one of the largest NYC based channels on YouTube and I’ve probably walked more miles in this city than anyone, period!
Canal street has changed and my issue is the open air drug trade where dealers sell tainted product to homeless people.
This causes unbelievable outbursts, suffering and violence on canal street.
I am more than happy to share with you hours of video over the years of the structural decline that is canal street.
I cover more ground in this city than ANYONE at all hours of the day.
Please don’t gaslight me.
If you’d like I’m more than happy to meet with you and talk more about this experience.
To be clear: the problem is what canal street has morphed into! The open air drugs, the junkies strung out on the street being taken advantage of by these street dealers selling tainted product!
@Lol19559014@MaudMaron@EYakoby It comes down to turn out. If there was presidential level turnout, or close to it, it does not matter that there are two non-Mamdani candidates running, the stronger one would win. Less time complaining about Curtis and more time going out and finding the voters.
@JenniferSey My favorite part is when she says "I don't want to have an unhappy experience and I don't want this all on camera" 🤣🤣🤣 she wants sunshine and rainbows and no repercussion from her inability to handle an on-camera interview with a real journalist!
The number of idiots in these comments who clearly have no children in public school (or any children at all) yet feel very capable—nay obligated—to opine about the education and future life options of other people’s children is pathetic. The luxury belief set is so enamored of their own virtuous desire to destroy public schools in the name of their bullshit equity. It is the same insistence on uniform mediocrity again & again & again.
I am so excited to see 15 DAYS get released. It’s a crucial film about the most anti-child moment. Closing schools AND keeping them closed was cruel, harmful and unjustifiable.
Thank you to The Midtown Republican Club for having me this evening!
It was a packed house - and it was great to meet so many fantastic Manhattan voters.
Why is Alvin Bragg @ManhattanDA ducking a debate? Why does he not want to defend is record? Why won’t he tell New Yorkers why he thinks he deserves four more years? Inquiring minds, and people who want safe streets and subways, want to know… https://t.co/dfltYsDrHk
People have to vote! In 2021, 3.8 million New Yorkers didn’t show up for the mayoral election. That’s why the media makes it sound like Mamdani has an easy win—because if people believe it’s inevitable, they stay home. Don’t let manufactured narratives create lethargy. Show up and vote.
A new poll by Tulchin Research today shows that in a head to head race, Mamdani would lose to one of the mayoral candidates by 11 points- 52-41.
Mamdani’s victory is NOT a foregone conclusion. We’re going to keep doing the work and we’re GOING to DEFEAT MAMDANI. #WalkAway

🚨 BREAKING 🚨
I formally challenged @ManhattanDA Alvin Bragg to a campaign debate.
➡️Name the time / place, Alvin, and I’m there.
Manhattan voters deserve transparency - so let’s give it to them.
