I was a huge fan of the Christian Parker hire, but he just hasn't been good enough through five weeks. Too many miscommunication/busts betweens the LBs and secondary, questionable situational play-calling, and getting outfoxed by opposing OCs.
Regardless, you can't fire him midseason. When you hire a DC who hasn't called plays at any level, you have to expect growing pains. I know it's frustrating (I'm very frustrated too), but you have to ride the roller coaster for the entire year and reevaluate at the end of the season. He deserves to get at least a full season's worth of chances. Can't give Flus a full year but not Parker, imo. #Cowboys
It's really hard to have a lot of faith/excitment in your football team if you don't believe in the coaching staff.
Nothing sucks the fun out of football faster than mediocre coaching.
I don’t want to be a prisoner of the moment. But as far as regular season Cowboy losses go, this feels pretty up there.
2013 Packers. 2019 Jets. 2021 Broncos. Vikings last year. Tonight.
Missing anything obvious?
Say what you will about last year's Cowboys' defense, but you're bound to look like shit when you trade away one of the best defenders in the league on the eve of the season.
The 2026 Cowboys spent an entire offseason designing this!

I ran to the bathroom after the Aubrey kick because I figured 0:07 was not enough time for the Cowboys to blow it.
what a disaster of a sequence from Brian Schottenheimer. and a shitty day from the Cowboys' special teams.
Brian Schottenheimer is the reason the Cowboys are losing this game. His situational playcalling is horrific. He's a below average HC. He talks great at the podium. But he doesn't give you any advantage on Sundays
