@DannyDainton Thanks Danny! Current timezone is AEDT (Australian) but I can vouch for my friend’s commitment and flexibility if that one is not great 😉
@evolvable@MGrzejszczak (2/2) When the provider changes, before releasing a new API version, the provider uses Swagger Mock Validator to check its new API docs with the contracts against itself present in the broker. This way each side validates when they change, which is, when things can break.
@evolvable@MGrzejszczak Partly, but my fault for not being clear :) When the consumer changes, we use Pact to generate consumer contracts yes, and then use Swagger Mock Validator to check with the API docs of the provider before deciding if the new contract is worthy of going to the Pact broker (1/2)
@sam_jeffress@evolvable@pact_up Good bunch indeed, my team is proud to maintain a good relationship with the @pact_up people and we understand our tools as complements to Pact for our specific use cases :)
