@rcbstormpost The ice is gradually moving further southward into the Gulf, and a strong onshore wind would have driven it in on the coastline. Nice comparison photos!
@dwancherry Have you considered going Airbnb? You can set it so you have to approve stays. It allows you to read their reviews, etc before accepting their request. In ten nights you'd have a month's rent. I went this way a few years ago and haven't looked back.
@dwancherry Sorry to hear this...we certainly do have a serious problem with mental health and addictions in NL. Little more than lip service has been offered by our leaders.
In closing the Fiona benefit Chris Andrews and Shanneyganock just showed the administration at MUN how our beautiful Ode can be made inclusive to both distinct parts of the province. Well done! Hereinafter called the Ode to Newfoundland and Labrador!
@sherrirose51 Hey, just seeing these posts about your mom's injuries and terrible experience at the hospital. What an awful thing to have to go through! There is no harm to say the system is a mess. I hope she is doing much better now.
For some time now, the @NLESDCA staff have been fielding questions resulting from social media posts making broad claims about students & individuals who identify as cats &/or animals. These posts claim that #nlschools are placing litter boxes in their buildings. 1/5
Krystle Collierโs Port Aux Basques home was destroyed by Hurricane Fiona. Her dining room collapsed into the garage.
This morning, she found her fridge washed up on shore. Still in her fridge was a box of White Claw Seltzers.
โItโs a good day to have a drink.โ
@Judy_Bond@RCMPNL I saw the same thing when I drove through there last week. An utter disregard for the clear signage and for worker and public safety.
@DavidWCochrane This is beyond disturbing. It's about as bad as hate gets. It's perplexing how much this seems to be on the rise today. Unfortunately social media gives such hatred a platform.
