My new routine is stalking the @netflix "Request TV shows" with Kaos Season 2. Sometimes they reconsider and I want it to be THIS ONE. (Go see it immediately if you haven't)
1st review is in! "Sydney Dunlap does it again in this powerful sophomore novel. With wonderfully earned twists, this fast-paced, unputdownable novel centers important timely issues through the lens of a relatable protagonist. A book we need now more than ever!" โMeg Eden Kuyatt
@zoiya_morell Maybe you don't need the scene. It depends how you're stuck though. If it's difficulty issues, change it up. Switch POVs if that's an option, change the setting. If you're not interested or inspired, then the reader won't be.
@InkDrinkerDawn I struggled for months before finishing. Upshot, there's a reason why it defined the genre. But it was also very early days and there's a reason the genre evolved beyond it.
In @Facebook hell at the moment. Tried to reset my password during the outage and now when I try the code they sent doesn't work. And it's the same code every time. This day has been AWESOME.
@zoiya_morell It can reveal something new about the character. But if it doesn't really matter to the story or say anything new about the character then its a good place to cut. True filler just buries the good stuff in mush.
My book - The Seemingly Impossible Love Life of Amanda Dean - comes out this year & even without a cover people are adding it to their TBRs on GR โค๏ธ๐ฅน As a kind of thank you, I'd like to host a g*ve away once it hits 100 adds

@robinhobb I HATE that. In my small town I used to fill in the gap with used book stores. In multi branch library systems they usually have it but its at another branch and you have to request it. Or there's always interlibrary loan.
