@Spawn_of_Al@DisBeforeAfter Thank DVC for helping to pay for what's there. Check the budgets for any DVC resort. At Bay Lake Tower alone, they budgeted 2.3 million for transportation in 2026.
@RefilweSeboko Growing up in the 80's, I knew it from computer memory/storage being measured in kilobytes.
(Don't get me started on that whole kilo/kibi 1000/1024 thing.)
@emmacruises Yes. And if possible, I would recommend one of the sailings from their flagship terminal at Port Canaveral. The about to be launched Disney Treasure would be great to see a review on.
@emmacruises I've asked them for afternoon snacks, dining reservations, laundry, an extension cord, or pretty much anything else I need (want). I also let them know if we're having any celebrations (birthday/anniversary) so that they can set up something nice!
@ShortFormErnie@geerlingguy The lawsuit alleges Raglan Road failed to properly train its staff, failed to properly warn about allergens in the food, and that they failed to prepare the food without allergens as requested several times. How would any of that hit the landlord?
@ShortFormErnie@geerlingguy The primary argument is "we don't own this place, so they can't sue us". It's a common tactic for attorneys to throw every other argument possible in case the primary fails. Read the suit (instead of the engagement bait headline), you'll see it very clearly.
@penguinsfan32@TheDCLBlog@jaylen_reese7 On a ship where it’s non uncommon for standard, non-suite rooms to sell for over $500/night, I suspect many people won’t bat an eye at another $50.
@JimmyOlsen19@pureMetatron I would be inclined to agree with you if the carriers were up front about it. But I’ve yet to see a major carrier in the US say up front to make sure your package can survive a 5 foot drop as if it’s the egg drop assignment from elementary school.
@chip_bennett@expat_girl@Bedsyboo@TheDCLBlog They will only status match you once. If you lose it from not sailing in three years, you won’t get it back. (That’s what they say - I haven’t seen anyone test it.)
@borges_bobby @TRVLtruth @TheDCLBlog This is simply what happens when a cruise line misses a port. If your total port fees charged are greater than what was paid out to the various government authorities, they refund you. It’s not intended to make up for you missing the port. You’re getting the fees you paid back.
