It’s 100°F outside—and now it’s 100°F inside my home. @ConEdison remotely shut off my AC during the heatwave, tripped the breaker, and now the compressor is dead. Fan runs, but no cooling. Who’s paying for this damage? #HeatEmergency #ConEdison #ACFail

12 hours later…It’s going to hit 105°F again. My AC was working until @ConEdison’s SmartAC shutdown. Now it’s dead.
They sent me a survey instead of help.
I’ve filed a complaint with @NYSDPS and will contact @NewYorkStateAG next.

11:30pm. @ConEdison just sent me a survey about the service.
What service? Their SmartAC remote shutoff tripped my breaker and fried my AC. No one helped. Nothing has been done. I hope the CONED leadership is sleeping in a nice cool home. Because I’m not.

Update: @ConEdison won’t admit their SmartAC shutoff tripped my breaker and killed my AC during a 100°F emergency.

They sent me to “energy efficiency” and a claim form for spoiled food.

My wife has asthma. My home hit 100°F.
This is negligence.

@ConEdison responded to my 100°F AC shutdown by DM, telling me to just “file a claim.” No technician, no inspection. My home is still 100°F-and tomorrow the heat index hits 105°. They triggered this by remotely cutting power. This is unacceptable. @RepMikeLawler @NY1 @PIX11News

@ConEdison I’ll send you a DM as requested. But this was more than an “inconvenience.” Remote shutoff during a 100°F emergency tripped my breaker and damaged my AC. Compressor is dead. I’ll be filing a formal claim and expect this to be escalated. ~Croton, NY

Uma pessoa com câncer, não deve esperar 21 dias para tratamento. Ou 5 dias para reclamação ter resposta. Quando câncer é diagnosticado o tratamento já está atrasado. Tratem esse caso como se fosse de um acionista do grupo BBD.

A @bradescoseguros esta brincando de D’us. Minha esposa esta com uma recidiva de cancer (sarcoma) seríssima e tem 10 dias que o pedido de radioterapia esta em análise. Isso é inconvebivel ja que pago quase 9.000 por mes eu e minha esposa. Nao caiam nessa cilada.

Got a very nice call from the Apple Grand Central manager. His solution is to give the laptop to them, so they can ‘recycle it’. (Of course, fix it and sell it as refurbished). What would I get? Nothing. $1,200 in the garbage.
